Week 40…. Still playing catch up.

Living in the Welsh valleys, we are used to grey skies and wet weather but we have had some beautiful sunny days in October so we have been out exploring.
There nothing like the couloirs of Autumn.

All dies, stamps and paper are Elizabeth Crafts Designs and please let me know if you’d like me to let you know which sets I use.

Thanks for looking, have a great week. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s been a while….. about 12 years 😱

Back crafting and found a new love for Elizabeth Craft Designs planner essentials designed by Esther Glas over the past few years.  It was the big 60 birthday in August and felt now is the time to re visit my blog. Here are a few pics of my recent weekly memory planner pages.

Polka Doodles Challenge

Week 1 - Shades of Grey and Sketch.

Here is my entry for this weeks Polka Doodles challenge.............

..........thought i would have trouble with the "Grey" part of this challenge but I think it's turned out okay!

The image is from Polka Doodles "Pretty Sweet" CD rom and so are the papers which had been coloured with Black Soot Distress Ink. I used promarkers Cool Grey and Lavender to colour the image. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (one was coloured using the grey promarkers) and the Lace, ribbon and hat pins were from The Ribbon Girl.

Thanks for looking

Poolka Doodles and Ribbon Girl challenge

I haven't posted for almost 6 months.......I need to find out.........Where I can buy Time!!!
I decided to have a go at CD crafting and what better way to start than with a Polka Doodles CD rom. I was far from disappointed, Nicky Hall's designs are stunning and the CD is so easy to use. Fab designs, fab papers and lovely sentiments too.
This is the card I made from the "Pretty Sweet" CD rom and I decided to enter it into Poolka Doodles weekly challenge blog and as the Ribbon Girl's challenge is Lilac and Green I thought I would enter it there too. This is the first time for me to enter these challenges, so wish me luck.

I used -
Polka Doodles CD rom "Pretty Sweet" (papers, image and sentiment)
Promarkers
Ribbon Girl - Seam Binding & Flat Lace ( coloured with promarkers)
Wild Orchid Crafts - Paper flowers
Tim Holtz Alterations die - Hanging sign

Thanks for looking, hope you like it.

"Show us your hands" is this week's theme on Simon says Stamp and show and "Men" on the Sunday Stampers challenge.

There are plenty of hands and just one "little man" on the letter "F" (Hels.....I hope this counts towards your theme???)

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by..............Andrea.xx

Alter it Monthly - Challenge

Alter it Monthly's theme for May is "WOOD" and I had the perfect little box to alter.

I painted the box with white acrylic paint and then distressed the edges with mushroom dabber..........

.........I used Tim Holtz fragments and papers for the top...........
 ...............and the inside.

This is the first time I have entered this challenge and I am hoping I find the time to join in again next month.
