WOYWW
Back to normal this week - Nice and messy!!I visited Jo Firth-Young and Banana Frog Blogs last week and this and my sister gave me the kick I needed to make some cards. (because i have been buying them - gasp!!)
The card at the back is my entry to this weeks Sunday Stampers Challenge on Hels Sheridan Blog, there's Candy to be won and the theme is Gold....Check out the link on the side of my Blog.
The other card is work in progress and inspired by Banana Frog.
Two new additions to my craft family this week.......My first ever Martha Stewart Punches and Banana Frog stamps....I love them all!!
The nail varnish bottles are "Silkies" - not sure how I feel about these at the minute...I think I need to have a bit more of a play :( and last but not least, the piccie on the windowsill is my Granddaughters first nursery school photo - I can't believe she is 3 already!!!
I think that's everything covered except to say a big thank you to all of you who left lovely comments last week. I'll be around this evening and definitely tomorrow evening (as it took me two nights last week to get round everyone!!) to check out what you've all been up to!!!
Perhaps our "Queen of Snoop" could make every Wednesday a Bank Holiday.......I'm sure she has the power!!!!
See you later..... :)
Happy Snooping!! xx

WOYWW - Ooops..No batteries in my camera!!

My workspace is pretty bland this week as I've been studying for a work related exam which I passed today...woo hoo!!
But here's one I took earlier.....
Top shelf - lots of lovely teddies and things off my two beautiful children Kellie 24 and Dylan 10. gasp...14 yr age gap!!!!
Yes - It is a bit mad here at times as Kellie has a 3yr old daughter to add to the mix but i love it!!
2nd shelf - Lots of woody things waiting "patiently" to be altered, bits and bobs, my lovely pink "Bind it all" and the frame with squares on was a project I completed at LB Crafts using the Viva range of Ferro, croco and metallic paints.
Some of my stamps, other necessities and a work in progress "cabinet" behind the guillotine....and the iron is for craft purposes only!!!
Happy snooping!!!
Thanks for all the lovely comments last week and I'll be around later (and probably tomorrow) to see what you've all been up to this week. xx

WOYWW
This is my 3rd week and I was very nervous about joining in and now..... I'm and addict I can't wait for Wednesday's to come around especially after all the lovely comments I've had....Thank you very very much!!!ok down to business - Last week Kaz said she thought she'd spotted a "hill" through my craft room window. Well as I live in Wales it's quite easy to spot a "hill" or two and we generally call them mountains!!!!!! so here is the view from my window especially for Kaz (by the way the daffodils are in a vase on my windowsill not in the garden!!!)
Well the tidy fairy has left me and you messy crafters out there will be pleased to know my desk is back to normal this week!!
Clock in progress...... This is a piece of mount board covered in Ferro and stamped into with Paper Artsy and Hero Arts stamps. I painted it with kaiser paint and DI's. Not really happy with the colours yet...needs a bit more work!!!!!
and eventually it will be attached to this......not sure how yet!!! This is an IKEA mirror (with the mirror removed) covered with patterned paper and stamped using DI's. The butterfly in the top corner is metal and a cuttlebug die and I've got a few more bits and bobs to add to it and hopefully you will see the finished piece very soon....fingers crossed!!
I'm hoping to enter this into "The Sunday Stampers Challenge"(link on the side of my blog) lots of lovely stash to be won as she's celebrating her 100th weekly challenge so pop over to Hels Sheridans blog and give it a go.Working again this week so I'll be around this evening to check out what everyone's up to!!!
Happy Snooping!!!
P.S if you arrived here by chance click on the WOYWW link and hop over to the "Queen of Wednesday's Blog....Julia to her friends" and find out what everyone has been up to. xxx

The Sunday Stampers Challenge

Last Sunday Hels Sheridan "ink on my fingers" picked "Silver" as the theme for this weeks challenge.
and here is my attempt.....Hope you like it!
Top square is platinum UTEE stamped with Paper Artsy stamp and highlighted with pink Viva deco metallic paint. The words are Darkroom Door.
Second Square is Silver Ferro stamped with a Hero Arts stamp. (remember to wet your stamp before stamping into Ferro and clean it straight away!!)
Third square is thick layer of Silver Croco which I left to crack overnight - I'm not normally that patient but you do get a better effect!!
Last square is Silver Ferro again stamped using the free stamp out of this months Craft Stamper and highlighted with pink viva paint and an Idea-ology Philosophy Tag and silver ribbon.
The Flower is Hero Arts - which is my favourite stamp at the moment. I stamped it on Claudine Hellmuths sticky back canvas using silver ink and Aged Mahogany DI
Can't wait for next weeks challenge as it's Hels 100th birthday....well not actually Hels...... her Sunday challenge is 100 weeks old!!!
Thanks for stopping by...x
