WOYWW 'week 60'

Hi Guys...
Not much to show on my desk this week except for a new craft sheet which I really don't want to use because it looks lovely and clean......... and my fab new stamps from Banana Frog that I won in their Blog hop.

The Flowery thing is made out of metal using the Martha Stewart punch, but not sure what I'm going to do with it yet!!
My attempt at 'Shabby Chic' didn't happen for me last week so kept going and you can see the finished result in my previous post.
Dashing off to work and I'll catch up with you all later. Have a great Wednesday.

xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

Sunday Stampers Challenge

The Sunday Stampers Challenge this week is Love &/or Life. My project started off  as shabby chic but didn't really go very well, so I kept adding lots of paint (Hels you will be pleased to know it was Trad Tan!!) and lots of crackle and lots of Tim's idea-ology. There is a little stamping but not a lot  and a lot of glimmer mist mixed in with the paint.Hope you like the result..........

Take a look on Hels blog to see her amazing art work....link on the side of my blog.
 Happy Crafting

WOYWW 'week 59'

I was lucky enough to go to LB crafts on Saturday for a workshop with the one and only.......Linda Elbourne! She is as lovely in real life as she is on her blog (and I'm not just saying that because she'll probably be reading  this today ....I'ts the truth!) and me and my sister had a fab and very inspirational time.
This is what i made.....
there were 5 postcard pages for the inside and here is one of them...

This is a page Linda made to show us different techniques and as I was cheeky enough to ask if I could have it, I am now the proud owner of one of Linda's works of art. (the photo really doesn't do the colours justice)
...........and now for my desk - "Shabby Chic- ish WIP" and struggling a bit but I'll keep going and hopefully I can show you the end result next week!

See you later and tomorrow and Friday probably......have a great Wednesday!

WOYWW

Well here's a story you've probably heard before - Mum comes home late from work (6:40pm)and 10yr old son says, "Mum for sports day tomorrow I need to where something which has the colours of the South African flag on." I didn't think it was appropriate to post Mum's reply........

So I got to work with a really cheap Tesco's white Polo Shirt and Claudine Hellmuth paint and a bit of masking tape and.............    hey presto!!
(Please don't think the bottom of the shirt is dirty, I'ts my messy towel soaking up the paint so it doesn't go through to the back -I was so glad I remembered to do that!)

and here is another pick of my desk with a my gorgeous easel off Julia -Thanks again Julia, I really love it and also some new stash -Tim Holtz goodies and a packet of flowers!

That's it from me  I'll see you after work for a good old snoop!!

Ellephantastic Challenge

Today Helen from Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts blog has set up a new challenge blog, a new online shop and a new blog for her wedding Stationery called Today and Always............... Hasn't she been busy!!!
Helen designs fab Digi Images and sometimes she posts freebie images on her blog which are really easy to download (speaking from experience!!!)
Anyway as I was lucky enough to win the Blog Candy she had posted for her launch day and I thought it was only right that I should enter her first challenge. I have never used a digital image before (not that you have to use one for the challenge) and today her freebie image was "Roger" the bear so I thought I'd give it a go. Well............. "Roger" has undergone a personality change and for this post I think it would be best if we called him  "Rosie" because............... I coloured him in "PINK" - sorry Helen!!!

So here's "Rosie"......
Pop over to Helen's blog (link on my sidebar) for more details and the chance to win some candy!!

Thanks for stopping by, happy crafting. xx
