WOYWW '75'

Another quick post from me as I should have done this last night. I've had a different job for the past 6mths and it means leaving at stupid o'clock in the morning.......never mind only 23 more days to go!!!
Not much on my work desk this week as I've been busy 'spring cleaning'. I'm either 6 months to late or 6 months too early :) There is a reason behind the 'domestic goddess' tendencies - The Sky man is coming to fit a new box and multi room. All Corners and skirting boards are sparkling so he can fit new cables without having to battle with the cobwebs!!!!
Anyway here's my desk........a really quick Christmas card on the stand, made out of the gorgeous Paper Arsty Christmas papers.

and you know the 'push back' technique that a lot of you use out there (you know who you are!!!) Well I haven't really got much room in front of me to master it so I gone for the 'side way' technique and the 'pile high' technique this week and I think I've definitely mastered it!! What do you think?? Good job Mr Sky man isn't going in my messy room!!
Thanks for all the fab comments last week, see you all soon,

Happy Snooping.........A.xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

Are all those blocks at the top left ink blending tools? If so WOW what a lot!

Can equate with your clean up for Mr Sky Man - I do exactly the same if workmen are coming or the radiators are being serviced - what are we like?

Thanks for sharing your piled up desk - can equate with that also. #24

I can relate to that mess. I feel like my whole craft room is that way. I do love the card and your desk is quite colorful. Nice of you to dust for the "SKY" man. What is a sky man?

I really love the little clear containers that look like they would be handy if only the paper towels weren't in the way (grin). Have a lovely WOYWW (#5).

Nothing worse than having to clean for a Sky man! Loving your push it left method.

I love what you've done with your ink cut 'n' dry foam putting the labels on so you use the same one again... i'm afraid i have to guess which one is the right colour as they're all thrown in a jar together!!!

Love the fab christmas card - very nice.

LOL... I am a sideways pusher too... it may be because I have no back to my desk so if I did the push back it would end up on the floor! Your desk looks very inspiring and the card looks brilliant. Annette #58

Ah Andrea, am delighted to see your push to the side and pile it on section - you are a human bean and I can relax a little bit more. Or should I welcome you to our side..?!

Lots of creative fun here! Hope the Sky man appreciates your cleaning, Jo x

Stupid o'clock gave me a good giggle! I push to the side sometimes, unfortunatly I gather everything up into a pile and just go dump it on the floor somewhere, then that pile gets added to again and again and then I wonder why I can't find anything. Thanks for sharing.

Yep. The push and shove technique is definetly a boon if you can master it. If I pushed to the left though it would fall straight onto the floor and demolish said pile on floor. I think I need some lessons!!!

Sherry Goodloe said...

I practice the sideway technique myself! LOL

hehee...It would be good (the caravan) if I was more tidy, and it was bigger! but it's been used as storage as we haven't had a towbar in years, I was out in the shed at one time, but in winter even with heat, it wasn't good! (and I hated treading on snails on the way back in at night!)

The card looks lovely from where I'm sitting and there seems to be some interesting things going on with colour at the front. And, is that a coffee mug holder dripping with tape I see trying to get out of shot in the second photo. Don't envy you these early morning in weather like it is at the moment. Regards, Elizabeth

Well done on the belated spring cleaning - its amazing where we clean when we have a handyman coming in isnt it! Love the cards you are making - I bought some Paperartsy papers at the NEC last week but I dont think its those (can you tell from that statement that they are still all in the packaging in a safe pile somewhere about the house??). Thanks for commenting on my blog last week - sorry I didnt get back to you but it was one of those weeks! (no.45)
