WOYWW - Sorry I missed last week!!

Too many Birthdays.

Had a really mad couple of weeks. My Dad's 75th birthday was 2 weeks ago, my Sister's 50th birthday was last Wednesday and today its the turn of my Mum (better not tell you her age!!!) and my gorgeous Granddaughter who is 3.

So here is what I've been up to........
This is the card I made for my Mum. (hope she doesn't read my blog before I get to give it to her!!) I used Hero Arts Poly Clear Big Flower stamp and Claudine Hellmuth's sticky back canvas plus all the orange shades of Distress Inks...........my fav colours at the moment!!

This is the card I made for my Granddaughter Katie-Louise, no stamp's and no inks which is really unusual for me.......... The Castle template and idea came from "Anna Marie Designs" and I know she is going to love it!!!

Now to my sister's card.........This wasn't the one under the paper towel two weeks ago.... I had a change of heart and started all over again!!!! I used one of the new Ten Second Studio molds and pearl metal and lots and lots of Glimmer mist and decided this was more appropriate. (not very good picture - sorry!!)

As for the other card......................It is still work in progress!!!!!

Dad's Card - Oops forgot to take a picture!!!

Last but not least here is my desk......
The Hero Art stamps I used in my Mum's card are on the left and for all of you who spotted the pearls in my last blog.......It's a phone dangly that my Mum made me for " the best scissors in the world" so I wouldn't loose them or get them mixed up when I went to Artsy Crafts wknd - really good idea don't you think??

See you next week......hopefully!!! xxx

I bought some of those Hero Arts clear stamps and am really pleased with the crisp image you get with them. Your cards are lovely, and that IS a good tip with the scissors so thanks!

Hi.
Iam Andrea's Mum. The one who did the pearl danglies. Andrea didn't like to tell you my age because she is such a thoughtful daughter but I am from today aged 71 and still going strong!!! Sometimes!
