WOYWW

Well I had a great time last Wednesday and all the AC's were fab.....It was just what I needed!

My Dad is doing OK, but it's going to be a long road......tiny steps and all that....... and I have to say a massive thank you to all of you for your lovely comments and best wishes ....when you are feeling low it really does mean a lot that so many of you took the time out of your busy schedule to leave a thought for me and my family. It was really appreciated.

OK, onto the job in hand....Hospital visiting and being diagnosed by a registered GP with a "weird virus" yes I  did say "weird" (my Mum thinks it's a new medical term for - I haven't got a clue what's wrong with you!!!) there's not much been going on in my craft room this week!!
My Son's friend was 9yrs old this week and I'd promised to make him a LEGO Clock - seemed like a good idea at the time (February)!!!  I did manage to drag myself out of my sick bed on the weekend and finish it for him and here it is....He loved it!!

As for my desk....a blank canvas waiting for me to mess it up - yipee!!

I've been told by the GP to rest, relax and not to go to work for the rest of the week and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in my craft room when DH is in work and my gorgeous Son is in school.........So I'm off to follow the Dr's orders for the rest of the week and hopefully you'll see a fabulous messy desk next week!!

A big massive thanks to Julia and all you fab WOYWWers out there who have made my week bearable.........Wednesdays are definitely the best day of the week!!

xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

Well I can't think of a better way to recover Andrea. Virus or not, I suspect you're under some pressure, so do be kind to yourself. Good news for your Dad, baby steps is good steps. Love that clock..great idea.

I am with Julia. What a perfect way to recover from what ails you. So glad to hear that your dad is better. I'm sure that's a big relief, or at least a baby relief.

I got such a kick out of "good idea in February." That seems to happen to me a lot lately. But you did an excellent job and it's wonderful. I bet he was thrilled.

Happy WOYWW and get well soon!

Glad your Dad is on the mend. Make sure you take care of yourself and do as the Dr says!
That lego clock is brilliant - the little boy must be so chuffed with it - I'd like it myself.

Aw big hugs hun, hoping you get over the weird virus... that is a bit of a cop out from the Doc isn't it though? It just used to be a "virus" .. they have upped the ante and added the weird to it now! :O)) Rest up and take care x

So glad that things are moving in the right direction for your Dad ... no matter how slowly.

Now that Lego Clock is brilliant ... no wonder the lad loved it.

There have been alot of ailments this year written off as viruses ....weird or not lol ...think you are right to think they dont know what it is and calling it a Virus means you dont need antibiotics as they dont work on a virus only on its effects ...thus cheaper for the NHS ...just call me synical LOL

Unknown said...

Oh, hope you get lots of "doctor craft" to make you better. The clock is amazing, well done on that one. xx
