WOYWW 'week 59'

I was lucky enough to go to LB crafts on Saturday for a workshop with the one and only.......Linda Elbourne! She is as lovely in real life as she is on her blog (and I'm not just saying that because she'll probably be reading  this today ....I'ts the truth!) and me and my sister had a fab and very inspirational time.
This is what i made.....
there were 5 postcard pages for the inside and here is one of them...

This is a page Linda made to show us different techniques and as I was cheeky enough to ask if I could have it, I am now the proud owner of one of Linda's works of art. (the photo really doesn't do the colours justice)
...........and now for my desk - "Shabby Chic- ish WIP" and struggling a bit but I'll keep going and hopefully I can show you the end result next week!

See you later and tomorrow and Friday probably......have a great Wednesday!

xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

I always love a tidy desk, so this was a fun post for me. I'm impressed with your WIP and of course your courage to ask Linda for the finished art (postcard). Way to go. Happy WOYWW.

The booklooks amazing. I'm so jealous you were able to have a class with Linda.

As to me having loads of stash... am OK at the moment but am usually on a complete stash ban between Ally Pallys and am usually pretty desperate by the time it comes to the show so to have to wait till April now is going to be... hmmm... interesting to say the least, Still - getting creative with limited supplies is all part of the fun fun fun :P

Hi Andrea
Thanks for stopping by my blog & looks like you had great fun with Linda !
I'm over in Pen-Y-Groes - glad to find another LB Crafts fan here !!
Do you belong to a craft group locally ? Just wondered if we might be able to get enough girls signed up to make it worth Linda coming to Wales !! But I'm newish here so don't know many crafters - just some of the ladies who have made me very welcome at a small scrapping club in Pontadulais. Looking forward to seeing your creation finished - I've had a quick Glimmer-mist tonight & am leaving stuff to dry !!
