WOYWW

Well here's a story you've probably heard before - Mum comes home late from work (6:40pm)and 10yr old son says, "Mum for sports day tomorrow I need to where something which has the colours of the South African flag on." I didn't think it was appropriate to post Mum's reply........

So I got to work with a really cheap Tesco's white Polo Shirt and Claudine Hellmuth paint and a bit of masking tape and.............    hey presto!!
(Please don't think the bottom of the shirt is dirty, I'ts my messy towel soaking up the paint so it doesn't go through to the back -I was so glad I remembered to do that!)

and here is another pick of my desk with a my gorgeous easel off Julia -Thanks again Julia, I really love it and also some new stash -Tim Holtz goodies and a packet of flowers!

That's it from me  I'll see you after work for a good old snoop!!
xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

Andrea I'm so sorry I didn't link you - have been out for the day and have just started desk gazing - am working my way from end to start for a change, and of course, I didn't read comments on my blog all day.
Anyway....good grief, you REALLy pulled it out of the bag with that tshirt. Trouble is, they never learn to give you notice if you come up with stuff like that!! You deserve the new stash - as a prize from your boy!

yay!! Clever you to come up with the colours on the T-shirt, bet it was the best one there!! My daughter once wanted a queen of the forest dress made once...out came some old curtain fabric with branches and owls on it and it made a great dress....bit weird, seeing I can't sew!

Why is it kids do that .... maybe they believe we are 'super mum'lol
I can remember sitting up into the early hours trying to create what I should have been told about weeks previously. Well done you ... bet he was pleased ...or does he take it for granted that you will sort these last minute problems out .xx

Very impressive that you managed to get the t-shirt done so quickly and so neatly! If I'd have tried to do that in one evening it would have been done, but messily! It looks very cool, hope he was proud to wear it!

I also scanned down your blog quickly, and I have to say, I LOVE the lego clock you made. So funky! I had lego knights on my wedding cake (shaped like a castle). Lego is fab! x
