WOYWW '70'

I missed you all last week, I couldn't commit to visiting as I was a bit busy so I thought it best to give it a miss.
I have struggled to get in my craft room this week and when I have tried I've had to stand up as little Meg had pinched my chair and she looks so cute I couldn't move her.
and her sister Gem (they hate each other with a passion!!) is curled up on a couple of cards that I had just made!!
This is what I've been working on this week. I went to ArtsyCrafts weekend in march and made a Gothic Arch  (you can see it here you need to scroll down a bit) and really wanted to do a Christmas one. Hopefully the frame will be covered in metal by Christmas.
Off to LBCrafts on Saturday for one of Lin's wonderful classes....Melt Art.  I'll be back next week with pics!

See you later......A.xx

P.S. If you've arrived here on the off chance and are wondering what's going on hop over to Julia "Queen of the WOWWers" blog to find out what it's all about. Link is on the side of my blog.

Why do they always sit on the things that are most fragile?? Mine does the same and I have to lock him out. Lovely work on view.

Cats always mamge to find the spots in the house that WE want to occupy... and they always look super-comfy there! Love the Gothic arch!

I love that arch. What a lovely color for Christmas, and all those stamps are beautiful, too. Too funny about the cats. Bleubeard is really jealous, since he never gets to sit on my desk or shelves. Meg really does look comfy.

I was asking Anne (Liverpool Lou) what a car boot sale was the other day. She explained they were people who set up tables and sold things, but not out of their "boots." Yes, I know what a boot is and it has nothing to do with feet! So, what is your definition of a car boot sale? We have flea markets where people buy stalls and set up each week (leaving their items there because it's only open two days a week). We have garage sales (a misnomer as no garage is ever sold (Grin), but I'm sure you have those, too). And we have second hand stores, which I know you call thrift shops.

I hope you will use those books you bought to either alter or use as backgrounds. Thanks for stopping by.

love the cats, I have a desk sitter, who also jumps on my chair in the microseconds it takes me to stand up. The other one is always on the floor behind my chair so I always have to look in case a paw or tail is in the way when I wheel backwards! I wouldn't have it any other way! Loving the arch, you are very lucky to be able to go to Lin's classes. Is that really an ink applicator for every colour on your desk?! K x #107
